Description:
We created the image of Shahrazad using sand and photographic elements for the Library Theatre's production of Arabian Nights. A well known and well loved production we wanted to create a unique show image that stood out from the norm. Her hijab was hand drawn using coloured sand around the photo of her eyes, making her eyes engaging and almost hypnotic. The sand flares out onto the background symbolising the magical nature of her stories and referencing the location of the show. Making of video
