It’s Sussan Morad here with Clevver News and Victoria Secret model Shanina Shaik just revealed that the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show runway extravaganza might not happen this year. <br/> <br/>Shanina has been in the brand's 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2018 fashion shows.<br/> <br/>And she just told The Daily Telegraph that quote, “Unfortunately the Victoria's Secret show won't be happening this year. It's something I'm not used to because every year around this time I'm training like an angel. But I'm sure in the future something will happen, which I'm pretty sure about. I'm sure they're trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it's the best show in the world.” <br/> <br/>So while that’s just one person’s statement and I’m not sure if she was even supposed to say anything, if the VS fashion show was actually cancelled that would be HUGE news. <br/> <br/>Many groups have been advocating for years that the show be cancelled due to its lack of diversity. <br/> <br/>Shanina didn’t say why the show is reportedly cancelled, but this possible cancellation comes after The New York Times reported in May that the show would no longer be broadcast on network television due to declining viewership.
