ANGRY tennis star Danielle Collins was slammed for her “massive Karen energy” after screaming at fans to “shut up”.<br/><br/>The 30-year-old is currently in the Californian desert competing at the Indian Wells Masters.<br/><br/>The American started the tournament on Wednesday with a clash against teenage Russian ace Erika Andreeva. <br/><br/>She was leading 7-6(3), 6-5 when rain hit and caused play to be suspended.<br/><br/>The match will resume later today, weather permitting, but a moment from yesterday’s action has gone viral.<br/><br/>After conceding a game to Andreeva, Collins looked to be fuming as she first screamed in frustration before telling someone in the stands watching to “shut up”.<br/><br/>It is not the first time that Collins has snapped and told someone to button it while out on the court, and it seems that tennis fans are getting a bit sick of her antics.<br/><br/>Responding to the clip on X, one wrote: “Can’t wait till she retires. I feel like I can speak for everyone and say no one will miss her at all.”<br/><br/>Another said: “Massive Karen energy.”<br/><br/>However, not everybody feels that way as one commented: “Something about Danielle specifically that her ‘Karen’ behavior doesn't bother me.<br/><br/>“I still really like her. She's quite funny sometimes.”<br/><br/>As another wrote: “If it was that one ‘fan’ who yelled her name every 30 seconds, then I'm with her. It was ridiculous.”<br/><br/>A Canadian Open round of 32 match between Collins and Maria Sakkari erupted into a loud argument between the pair after the latter spiked a ball into the crowd last August.<br/><br/>The frustrated Sakkari smacked the ball off the ground into the crowd by mistake before raising her hand to apologize to the spectators and the umpire.<br/><br/>However, Collins was not happy over the lack of discipline handed to her opponent as she screeched at the chair umpire: “Did you just see that? Did you see what happened?”<br/><br/>Her rival hit back: “It didn’t even hit anyone, it was on the ground.”<br/><br/>But Collins snapped back: “Shut your mouth, shut your mouth.”<br/><br/>Sakkari continued to declare that she meant no maliciousness and said before being cut off: “What is your problem?
