We all know that sports teach you character. <br/><br/>'So much of what is special about sports is that it teaches you determination, commitment, durability because of the fact you have to stick with things. <br/><br/>'What I enjoy about who my dad was, was the example he was to me. The good character he was to me. Also, the fun we had in those moments. <br/><br/>'I am divorced. I got married a while and he gave the speech at my wedding. One of the things he said to me was you will look back at some point in your life and you will never wish you spent more time at work. <br/><br/>'You will always value family in those moments that you had. So, yeah. It's just dope to hear what it means to another father.'<br/><br/>Abdo previously recalled how she grew up attending games at Old Trafford with her father before admitting her mother was a Liverpool supporter. <br/><br/>The CBS presenter also introduced her father to Peter Schmeichel as a special guest during their 2023 interview.<br/><br/>Abdo referenced her former marriage during the tribute to her father, recalling how her dad had made a speech on her big day. <br/><br/>The 42-year-old presenter married Ramtin Abdolmajid in 2010 with the pair shortening their surname to 'Abdo' when they wed.<br/><br/>Ramtin is said to be a businessman and investor with a reported wealth of around £ 10 million, according to The Sun. <br/><br/>The details regarding their split have not been disclosed but Abdo has publicized her new relationship with Malik Scott - Deontay Wilder's boxing coach.
