The bodywork is based on a philosophy called the 3D Riding concept, which focuses on providing the rider with greater freedom of movement.<br/><br/>Another important element of the Yamaha MT-09's aesthetic that has changed in this evolution is the headlights; now a full LED setup in a redesigned cover, a more compact setup creating a more unified relationship with the fuel tank, and even inspired by the origins of the MT family with a fusion of the Naked and supermotard world. The optics have been improved, a dual-function projector type with a smaller and thinner compact diameter lens module without loss of wide and powerful beam. It also has two very attractive clear LED daytime running lights that give the whole a more compact look.<br/><br/>At the rear we also see a redesigned LED pilot, where the position and brake lights have been separated to accommodate the new shape of the outer lens. To give the rear a more stylish appearance, the upper pilot lens is red and the lower pilot lens has a smoked surface.<br/><br/>The tank has also been shaped differently to facilitate active and freer riding while maintaining sharp aesthetics. This change is noticeable above all at high speeds and revs, thanks to the new acoustic amplifier grille in the upper part of the motorcycle, so the rider feels it much more.<br/><br/>The ergonomics of the 2024 Yamaha MT-09 also receives changes. The ergonomic triangle has been modified to redefine the riding position, thus allowing different riding styles, increasing comfort in addition to the greater freedom of movement mentioned above.<br/><br/>The seat is now separated to separate the movements of the passenger and the rider, improving the overall front-center position, rider agility and even the overall design of the motorcycle.<br/><br/>Among its equipment we must highlight the installation of a USB-C charging port under the seat.<br/><br/>Braking has also been significantly improved, thanks to the installation of the new Brembo radial pump.
