Unfortuntely for David he gets nowhere with her, so he sleeps with Joey instead. After realising that she isn’t the girl for him, he has a few one night stands with unnamed girls before meeting Yoshiko (Murakami) a Japanese girl whose father has taken over David’s struggling company. They have sex numerous times but eventually David realises he cannot love a woman for her money and beauty alone so he leaves her and returns to America. Yoshika then gets drugged and raped by Charlie.
