Upon the father is their [i.e., the mothers'] provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 233 (Urdu Translation): “ مائیں اپنی اوﻻد کو دو سال کامل دودھ پلائیں جن کا اراده دودھ پلانے کی مدت بالکل پوری کرنے کا ہو اور جن کے بچے ہیں ان کے ذمہ ان کا روٹی کپڑا ہے جو مطابق دستور کے ہو۔ ہر شخص اتنی ہی تکلیف دیا جاتا ہے جتنی اس کی طاقت ہو۔ ماں کو اس کے بچہ کی وجہ سے یا باپ کو اس کی اوﻻدکی وجہ سے کوئی ضرر نہ پہنچایا جائے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). Upon the father is their [i.e., the mothers'] provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allāh knows and you know not. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 232 (Urdu Translation): “ اور جب تم اپنی عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وه اپنی عدت پوری کرلیں تو انہیں ان کے خاوندوں سے نکاح کرنے سے نہ روکو جب کہ وه آپس میں دستور کے مطابق رضامند ہوں ۔ یہ نصیحت انہیں کی جاتی ہے جنہیں تم میں سے اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین وایمان ہو، اس میں تمہاری بہترین صفائی اور پاکیزگی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
