These comments have now served as motivation for Laura to pursue her dreams of being a model and she is now featured on billboards and at fashion shows. <br/><br/>LNER is set to place hundreds of thousands of tickets on sale for summer this year following a very popular year in 2023 when more than six million journeys were made between June and August last year. Tickets for many LNER weekday and weekend services up to and including Friday, September 6 this year will be available to purchase from this Thursday (April 4).<br/><br/>Finally, a woman who died in hospital after a serious crash in Keighley last week has been named by the West Yorkshire Police. Joan McIerny was seriously injured when she was hit by a Toyota Yaris in a crash at the junction between Long Lee Lane and Cherry Tree Rise at around 6.15pm on March 25. Joan died in hospital on Saturday March 30. She was 81 years old. The driver of the Yaris stopped at the scene and has been interviewed by the police who are still appealing for witnesses of the incident.

_road-closures-will-be-in-place-for-the-long-course-weekend-sporting-event-in-and-around-tenby.webp "County Councillors across Pembrokeshire have been asked for their views on up and coming road closures for an annual sporting event.<br/>Pembrokeshire County Council has received a request for temporary road closures and restrictions to facilitate the annual Long Course Weekend triathlon, which is to be held in June.<br/>The event kicks off with the swim held on Tenby’s North Beach on the evening of Friday, June 21, followed by the cycle sportive on Saturday, and the Wales Marathon on June 23 - with events taking place around Tenby and the south of the County.<br/>As in previous years, the Local Authority has stated it will be necessary to introduce a number of traffic restrictions on the Saturday and Sunday to enable both the sportive and marathon to take place in a safe environment.<br/>The Croft and a section of the Norton (White Lion Street to The Croft) will also be temporarily closed on the Friday evening between 4.30 and 6.30 pm, in the interest of public safety due to possible thronging of spectators watching the swim event.
