On 8th and 9th March 2011, a snow storm hit Athens, Greece with great force. Quite a few trees fell in the city during those couple of days. A beautiful Fir Tree in the garden where I live almost fell, saved by a bigger magnolia Tree adjacent to it, the fir tree is approximately 25 years old and more than 6 meters high. I took it upon myself to try and rescue it and here's how it was done.
