After checking out at 11am, we parked our luggage with the hotel, it's complimentary. Then we walked to Transformers The Ark, it's a restaurant opposite Times Square Hong Kong. While walking there, we passed by the famous Da Siu Yan (beat petty people) bridge too, I didn't dare to shoot video there as there were many things that look like religion related. But if you have someone you wanna beat their soul, go there, it's near Times Square under the bridge. <br/><br/>Transformers The Ark is surprisingly great! Food AND DRINKS are great, service is Excellent! Upstairs really feels like you're in The Ark, Autobot's Ship. Bose speakers are used, feels like cinema. Every 15 minutes the ship will be attacked by Decepticons. The kids love it. We ordered the special set with Burger and Pizza. More than enough food. Yummy!<br/><br/>After that, we walked Times Square a little before we head back to hotel. Then straight away to airport via taxi. Cost was around HKD 350. Pricey but hassle free and fast. Especially with kids.<br/><br/>After checking in, we went to Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate 1. There are 4 Plaza Premium Lounges there. Kids below 3 are free while 3 and above are chargeable. Two of my cards worked while Zac had a complimentary kid's entry as my wife just registered for Smart Traveller App from@PlazaPremiumLoungeTV @plazapremiumgroup8563 . It's an app that allow us to collect points every time we enter the lounge. Used to be known as Arrture. Use code K3PT84 when you register. (Help me get some points so@BabyAsherMakcan go in too, he's turning 3 soon).<br/><br/>We met a new friend from Ukraine too. _hong-kong-day-5-ocean-park.webp "On Day 5, we went to Ocean Park@HKOceanPark. We were very fortunate that we went right after all major holidays, on a Monday when everyone has gone back to work and school. There were not that many people, so we got to take most rides and activities that are available for kids.<br/><br/>Unlike Disneyland which is a little more lenient. Height requirements for most rides in Ocean Park is above 120 cm. Therefore even Zac couldn't get on most rides that are a little more exciting. The only Rollercoaster he manages to go on was Arctic Blast.<br/><br/>From Wan Chai, we went to Ocean Park by taxi. For four people, it makes more sense VS MTR or bus. Distance is just 12 minutes from Wan Chai, through a tunnel in the middle of Hong Kong. <br/><br/>There are quite a good number of rides and activities that are kids friendly in Ocean Park. Make sure you rent a stroller here too. The stroller is quite big and not foldable. In between Old Hong Kong Game Zone and The Waterfront, we started off with Le Petit Prince which is a recent collaboration. It's beautiful. Then we went for a Merry Go Round. After that we took the cable car to Marine World Game Zone. The view from cable car was extremely gorgeous and cold wind was soothing. <br/><br/>Then we walked to Ocean Theatre for Dolphin Show. Near there, there is a Demon Grove, Japanese ghosts inspired area. Shark Mystique is just next door. After that we went to Ferris Wheel. Then grabbed lunch at McDonald's.After lunch, Zac and I went to a zombie shooting game called 180 Lab. Quite interesting and bloody. Then we went to different areas of the park to see animals ie from Rainforest, from Arctic, from Ocean, interesting and relaxing. Zac get to go on Arctic Blast rollercoaster. Abby manage to take the more exciting Hair Raiser and Whirly Bird while I'm taking care of the kids. Check out our Slow Motion video.<br/><br/>Finally, we took the Ocean Express train back to Whiskers Harbor Game Zone, with many activities for kids! Then we proceeded to the Grand Aquarium. The night ended with a spectacular show at the entrance in front of Grand Aquarium. Finally while going back home, we stopped by the Michelin 1 Star for 9 consecutive years Goose Rice called Kam's Roast Goose. _hong-kong-day-4-hong-kong-city.webp "Day 4 was finally our truly free and easy time in Hong Kong, in preparation for Day 5, Ocean Park!!! <br/><br/>On Day 4, we woke up quite late, had a simple and light breakfast at our hotel. Then we went to meet my good friend Deborah Woo ( https://www.instagram.com/modern.wooman ) at Nanhai No. 2 at World Trade Center, a really beautiful dim sum, yum cha, place over looking the sea view of Victoria Harbor. Food was delicious and atmosphere was amazing. Thank you Deborah!<br/><br/>Then Deborah also took us to buy our very much sought after Yuen Long Wife Cakes! After that we returned to our hotel and Abby wanted some personal sight seeing and shopping time, so I took care of the kids while she went out. Auntie Jamie came over to our hotel too. We watched Frozen 2 on Disney Plus then rested a little.<br/><br/>Evening Auntie Jamie walked us to have dinner with Uncle Kazu and her at Lei King Restaurant in Wan Chai. They serve some of the most delicious very local Hong Kong food in the area. We had lots of good food!<br/><br/>Then Jamie took us to the seaside over looking Tsim Sha Tsui. It was a relaxing and beautiful walk. _hong-kong-day-3-tsim-sha-tsui.webp "After a super duper tiring day at Hong Kong Disneyland, we have decided that Day 3 should be Free and Easy. We were extremely wrong.<br/><br/>In the morning, we wanted the kids to experience Hong Kong Tramways A.K.A. Ding Ding Tram. It's cheap, very comfortable especially on second floor due to the cold winds and convenient. It goes up and down of Hong Kong Island for the same price. <br/><br/>We stopped a few blocks away from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, and we slowly walked there through the buildings, then along the beautiful seaside walkway. Then we found out that the ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui is there. So we took the ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. <br/><br/>Upon reaching Tsim Sha Tsui, we took a picture with Chubby Heart by renowned British designer Anya Hindmarch. Then we walked to K11 MUSEA Mall.@BabyZacToysoffered to carry mom's bag. <br/><br/>K11 MUSEA is a very new mall, just opened in August 2019. The entire mall smells of beautiful sweet vanilla, very pleasant. There are many shops, many eateries, we had a sushi boat at the food court downstairs. Bought some French bread along the way. After that, we explored the mall a bit, and had bubble tea at 6th floor then we went up to 7th floor to two free kids playground, Phoenix (5 and up) and Hen (below 5 years old). Then we stumbled upon Shell's event there and had some fun activities there. Since we decided to stay for the light show at 8pm. We let the kids play at the playground until closing time at 6pm.<br/><br/>Then we waited outside and had our bread. The light show was....hmmmm.... music should be louder. We took the train to Fortress Hill MTR for the super famous dessert shop called Fook Yuen to get some dessert then we went back to hotel by taxi.
