adults found 52 per cent have been inspired to try a hack after watching one on social media. <br/><br/>However, for 21 per cent of these, they didn’t quite live up to expectations – with 79 per cent admitting viral hack videos are not always as effective as they first appear. <br/><br/>Cooking, DIY, and kitchen cleaning online tips are the most attempted, followed by ways to tidy the bathroom and save money. <br/><br/>When it comes to food waste videos, 36 per cent have seen content about using leftovers for soups and stocks, while 35 per cent have come across videos about turning stale bread into breadcrumbs. <br/><br/>And 26 per cent have seen reels about freezing fresh herbs into portions to pop into meals when they are needed. <br/><br/>In fact, some respondents even claimed they have used banana peels to polish shoes or leftover fruit to make face masks. <br/><br/>Despite this, milk, bread, bananas, and salad leaves are the most discarded foods – with 35 per cent blaming their food waste habits on forgetting they had certain items. <br/><br/>Whereas 29 per cent overestimate portion sizes and 21 per cent overlook labels when shopping, the survey conducted via OnePoll found.<br/><br/>Ben, from Waitrose, which removed best-before dates from hundreds of fresh produce items, added: “Best-before’, ‘display-by’ and ‘sell-by’ dates can be ignored – ‘use-by’ dates are the With a starting price tag of over $1M, the monster-sized vehicle can even come provided with an optional bullet proof exterior. Intentionally designed asymmetrical, the sport utility vehicle has what the creator calls the ‘diamond design’. Designer Luciano D’Ambrosio says inspiration was drawn from the Batmobile that featured in The Dark Knight trilogy. Luciano told R.Rides: “When you’re in this business for so many years you think, how about being a little different, especially exaggerated. The maverick designer threw the engineering manual out when envisioning the look for the Karlmann King. Multiple protruding surfaces making up its idiosyncratic look - the car is a spectacle to look at when it’s on the road. He said: “Going opposite to what the design rules would usually ask you for, it’s called the diamond design.” Although the car has been designed to be domineering and big, Luciano is quick to point out the car shouldn’t be seen as too aggressive. The construction of the car is comprised of a shell built and overlapped a Ford F550 chassis, but its unique design doesn’t stop there. For the more discerning customer the car is almost fully customisable. Under the bonnet the car boasts a Ford 6.7l V10 engine giving off 420 horsepower and, despite its mammoth shape, provides a smooth drive on the roads. The top speed of the vehicle is 220 km/h. Luciano said: “Given the size of the car you can imagine you’re driving an elephant but it’s a very flexible and nice drive.” Although its starting price begins at a cool $1,085,000, for a more bespoke design and with its customisable extras the vehicle can cost up to $3,800,000. “My most favourite thing is the way people look at the car, it doesn’t go unseen,’ said Luciano.")

Wing Commander Adam Collins said: “The Gnat is synonymous with the earliest days of the Red Arrows and this wonderful chapter of British aviation. “Reuniting the aircraft, at our home base in Lincolnshire, with some of those who helped establish the team during the 1960s ... has been a great backdrop from which to launch our Diamond Season display dates. “It’s through these forthcoming summer shows, colourful flypasts, and engaging ground events that we hope to inspire even more generations.” The Folland Gnat was flown by the Red Arrows from the team’s first season in 1965 until being replaced by the bigger Hawk T1 in 1980. Squadron leader Jon Bond, who will be Red 1 this year, added: “To bring together the past, present, and potential future of the Red Arrows is the perfect way to launch our 60th season display calendar. “The Red Arrows will perform a new, nine-aircraft show at locations across the UK this summer and the whole team of 140 people, both air and ground crew, are humbled by the countless individuals whom have already got in touch to say how they can’t wait to see this diamond display,” he added. The teams’ training continues at RAF Waddington, with the first public display due to take off in late May. The public will be able to enjoy displays across the season including at Blackpool Airshow, Eastbourne International Airshow, the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and Armed Forces’ Day performances. The team will also perform in Canada at four airshows to help celebrate the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centennial. Red Arrows’ pilots all have previous fast-jet, operational experience flying the Tornado, Typhoon, or Harrier.
