That is instructed to whoever of you believes in Allāh and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allāh knows and you know not. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 232 (Urdu Translation): “ اور جب تم اپنی عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وه اپنی عدت پوری کرلیں تو انہیں ان کے خاوندوں سے نکاح کرنے سے نہ روکو جب کہ وه آپس میں دستور کے مطابق رضامند ہوں ۔ یہ نصیحت انہیں کی جاتی ہے جنہیں تم میں سے اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین وایمان ہو، اس میں تمہاری بہترین صفائی اور پاکیزگی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 237 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَإِن طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدۡ فَرَضۡتُمۡ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةٗ فَنِصۡفُ مَا فَرَضۡتُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يَعۡفُونَ أَوۡ يَعۡفُوَاْ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ عُقۡدَةُ ٱلنِّكَاحِۚ وَأَن تَعۡفُوٓاْ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ وَلَا تَنسَوُاْ ٱلۡفَضۡلَ بَيۡنَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 237 (English Translation): “ And if you divorce them before you have touched them and you have already specified for them an obligation, then [give] half of what you specified - unless they forego the right or the one in whose hand is the marriage contract foregoes it. And to forego it is nearer to righteousness. And do not forget graciousness between you. Indeed Allāh, of whatever you do, is Seeing. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 237 (Urdu Translation): “ اور اگر تم عورتوں کو اس سے پہلے طلاق دے دو کہ تم نے انہیں ہاتھ لگایا ہو اور تم نے ان کا مہر بھی مقرر کردیا ہو تو مقرره مہر کا آدھا مہر دے دو، یہ اور بات ہے کہ وه خود معاف کردیں یا وه شخص معاف کردے جس کے ہاتھ میں نکاح کی گره ہے تمہارا معاف کردینا تقویٰ سے بہت نزدیک ہے اور آپس کی فضیلت اور بزرگی کو فراموش نہ کرو، یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے اعمال کو دیکھ رہا ہے۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
